Who will leave Liverpool this summer?
Despite Liverpool having just won the Premier League title with ease, an Anfield exodus is expected this summer.
It feels strange to suggest that any squad that has just won the Premier League at a canter might be ripped up as soon as the transfer window opens.
But that is the situation Liverpool find themselves in as they prepare to let Arne Slot and Richard Hughes finally put their stamp on things after overseeing a successful debut campaign in their respective roles.
With that in mind, here is a look at all those whose Anfield futures are in doubt and what the summer might hold for them.
Caoimhin Kelleher
The Irishman is one of few who can be considered all but a certainty to depart given the strength of his desire for first-team football and Liverpool’s openness to granting that wish. Brentford and Bournemouth are among the clubs interested, though the Reds will demand a fee in excess of £20m in order to sell.
Joe Gomez
Gomez came remarkably close to joining Newcastle United last summer and is believed to be open to a similar move this time around in order to play more frequently. Liverpool would be unlikely to stand in his way after a decade of service, though it remains to be seen whether interested clubs will meet the asking price of a player who was valued at £45m a year ago and has just endured another injury-plagued campaign.
Jarell Quansah
Few would have predicted it last summer, but Quansah is a genuine candidate for a departure in this transfer window. The 22-year-old is wanted by clubs in England and Germany and is thought to be keen on securing more game time after a frustrating season. Were Liverpool to reluctantly let him go, a valuation of around £50m would have to be met.
